we both know
how this goes  much like
i'm an addict and you're a whore
so go on and count
my faults on one hand— well
you could also use
the other—
then watch me
slip through your fingers
down the floor
i sink in
the vicinity of my own shit
sin sealed in lip gloss pink straight
from your lips—

and that's when i know i will
solidify back to my
former shell self and
love you like you hold me
dear—you got me like
dopamine
